The Euro Examinations – Euro and EuroPro - offer certificates to learners of English at the three main levels (Threshold, Vantage and Operational Proficiency) in both general and business contexts, using real life tasks. The Euro Examinations have been developed on the basis of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEF), a guideline used to describe abilities of learners of foreign languages across Europe. All tasks, level descriptions and all materials reflect the up-to-date task-oriented view of language learning, being based on the CEF “can do" statements. They outline the competences necessary for communication as well as related knowledge and skills. The levels, being entirely based on the Common European Framework, are widely understood throughout Europe. | |
