Challenging and Fair Tests
The Euroexams test language as a communicative skill. Euroexam tasks are designed to assess test-takers ability to use the target language in the way they actually would in real-world situations.
While meeting the rigorous academic and security requirements of accepting educational institutions, companies and public bodies, the Euroexams place the test-taker experience at its heart, so that on exam day there is a more than fair chance their performance is an accurate reflection of their language and communication skills.
Use your dictionary, when taking a Euroexam!
The Euroexams are the only language exams that allow the use of any printed dictionary in all parts of the exam. Monolingual or bilingual, it is up to you. It can be a great help, but only if you have the experience of using them, playing with them during your preparation. Make sure you also know which part of the exam it is worth opening for, and when it is a waste of time only. If you can use your dictionary well, it can increase your confidence and your score.
Speaking Test in Pairs
The Euroexam Speaking test is taken in pairs. Even if in several tasks at B1 and B2 levels candidates take turn to answer the examiner’s questions and prompts only, the presence of the other candidate provides everyone time to concentrate and relax a bit, too. However, the last B1 and B2 task, as well as the whole of the C1 Speaking test require both candidates to interact with each other in a real-life like situations. And if you would like to, you can even choose your best friend to be your partner in the speaking exam.
