Universities around the world recognise the Euroexam suite of exams — including the General English, Business English (Levels B2 and C1) and the Academic English C1 — as fully meeting the English-language requirements for admission to and/or graduation from degree-level courses taught in English. These certificates provide clear, reliable reporting of candidate performance, giving institutions the flexibility to align Euroexam criteria with their own academic standards and specific course demands.
Notably, the UK government’s UK ENIC (formerly UK NARIC) carried out a detailed evaluation in 2018 and confirmed that Euroexam General English C1 meets the CEFR standard required for English-medium higher-education. The exams are also state-accredited in Hungary, and all Hungarian universities recognise them for both admission and graduation purposes.
Students presenting a Euroexam certificate at the required CEFR level (typically B2 or C1) will qualify for consideration of entry to degree programmes at many universities internationally. For institutions not listed, please contact us.
The Euroexams are State-accredited in Hungary. All Hungarian universities recognise the Euroexams as meeting requirements for both graduation purposes and admission to degree course taught in English. International Students applying to study in Hungary are recommended to take the Euroexam Online General English Level B2 or C1. The Government sponsored Study in Hungary programme offers international students in Hungary the chance of free tuition and contribution to living costs.
